It all started as a bakery in the woods...

Gordon Woodcock and Katie Venner have been producing wood fired sourdough and pastries at their bakery in Tracebridge, Somerset since 2008. They hold wildly popular pizza nights from Easter to Guy Fawkes and run sourdough and patisserie classes for the home baker.

The class schedule has expanded to include fermented foods, and after hosting their first wedding last year, they're now happily offering their beautiful woodland setting for informal private functions.

Ex-apprentice Fleur Hoyle returned to Tracebridge in Autumn 2018 as a partner in the bakery. Fleur is running all our classes during Winter 2018/19 while Katie and Gordon take a break in France. You can follow their adventure on Instagram Tracebridge Sourdough.
